SOON...

Benji-Benji-Benjamin
Louis Boulanger - Achille Deveria
My favorite part about gigantic ensemble paintings, involving handfuls (and in some cases, hundreds) of real people, is that there's always a couple rubes that you know the painter hated. Just absolutely terrible depictions of these poor saps. They're basically the original photobombs. One of my favorites is in this painting which is the size of a house. It's so fucking huge and beautiful. Let's take a look.

Oh, what a wonderful painting. Napoleon's coronation. So many people.

A closer look reveals intricate details in their robes. Oh how glorio-- wait... what's this?

GYAH!

not-so-subtle EYEFUCK you probably taste like butter nummy-nummy-nummms
